We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Rockleigh, NJ. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help adult patients regain the skills they need for everyday life following conditions such as stroke, pneumonia, cardiac events, hip procedures, and other acute diagnoses. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active New Jersey State COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Facility preference: experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.
• Clinical experience treating adult populations with stroke, cardiac, pulmonary, and post‑operative hip conditions preferred.
• Experience with NetHealth therapy documentation preferred.
• Ability to manage a productive caseload consistent with facility expectations (client notes indicate approximately 90% productivity target under typical schedules).

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift name: Days.
• Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a 30 minute lunch break.
• Patient focus: adults from hospital-level acuity (stroke, pneumonia, cardiac, hip, acute conditions).
• Productivity expectation: approximately 90% productive caseload.
• Start: ASAP candidates preferred.
