Description

Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Ohio PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification required from AHA or ARC. (Client may require documentation prior to start.)
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Client strongly prefers prior experience with geriatrics, fall risk management, and restorative programs.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and documentation required. Familiarity with common therapy equipment used in SNFs, such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and portable modalities, preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and follow PT-established plans of care.
