Description
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Phoenix, AZ. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapy Assistant license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC preferred. If required by the client, BLS must be current prior to start.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a COTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by an Occupational Therapist and implement restorative and compensatory techniques.
- Client may require completion of facility-specific competency validation prior to assignment start.
