Description
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Syracuse, NY. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active New York State COTA license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience providing care in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Client requires proficiency with ADL retraining, therapeutic activity planning, and documentation in electronic medical records; prior experience with SNF documentation standards preferred.
- Ability to follow treatment plans established by licensed Occupational Therapists and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
