Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or must obtain prior to start.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform therapeutic exercise, transfers, gait training, and safe patient handling.
• Familiarity with documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
• Client requires reliable clinical references and demonstrated competency in geriatric rehabilitation preferred.
