Description

Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Connecticut PTA license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or must be obtained prior to start.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency with common skilled nursing tasks such as transfer training, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and documentation in an EMR system preferred.
  • Ability to follow care plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
