Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Brooklyn, NY. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license required prior to the start of the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility is required.
- Experience with transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and mobility devices (e.g., walkers, canes) preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to document skilled services per facility and payer requirements.
- Reliable clinical communication skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
