Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant at a skilled nursing facility in El Monte, CA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them improve mobility, function, and independence under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or post-acute care setting required by client.
• Experience with therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, transfers, gait training, and documentation in an electronic medical record system.
• Ability to work with medically complex and geriatric populations, including fall-risk management and cognitive impairment strategies.
• Current TB screening and immunization records as required by facility policy.
• Preferred: Experience with restorative nursing programs, wound care collaboration, or use of standard assistive devices (Hoyer lift, gait belt). These are preferred but not required.
