Description
Make a real difference as a travel PTA supporting home health patients in Aberdeen, WA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility, function, and independence under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program or higher.
- Active WA State PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required or must obtain prior to start.
- Experience providing home health physical therapy services preferred.
- Familiarity with HCHB documentation system preferred.
- Ability to perform subsequent visit responsibilities for home health caseloads.
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s degree listed by client for role alignment; associate degree acceptable per PTA licensure standards. (Client requires PTA certification.)
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Home Health.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:00 - 16:00 (days).
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
- On-call/weekend requirement: No.
- Coverage area: Up to a 50 mile radius from base office.
- Mileage reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient.
- Dress code: Business casual.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to cover patients across the coverage area as part of normal home health duties.

Standard Job Description
Provide skilled physical therapy services as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in home health settings. Responsibilities include conducting subsequent visits, implementing treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist, documenting patient progress, and communicating with the interdisciplinary care team. The PTA will travel to patient homes within the assigned coverage radius and adhere to agency policies and documentation requirements.
