Description

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Active Texas State License or ability to obtain prior to start of assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • At least 2 years of hospital-based SLP experience preferred. (Preferred)
  • Experience with speech therapy for patients in critical care settings preferred. (Preferred)
  • Former experience working in an HCA facility preferred. (Preferred)


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
  • Rotating weekend coverage: approximately 2 weekend days per 4-week scheduling period.
  • Request for Speech Therapist with critical care experience.
  • Must have prior hospital experience. Candidates may be asked to float within the hospital as needed.
