Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Freeport, ME. You will work with patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injury or illness, assisting with mobility, therapeutic exercises, and activities of daily living under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. A recruiter will follow up with assignment details upon application.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maine PTA license or compact privilege if applicable. State license must be valid to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
• Demonstrated ability with therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, transfer training, and use of common assistive devices.
• Client-specific requirement: experience documenting in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
• Client-specific requirement: ability to work with geriatric populations and manage fall risk and mobility decline.
