Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active New York State PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or will be required by client.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience working as a PTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred by client.
• Experience with common SNF interventions, transfers, gait training, use of mechanical lifts, and restorative nursing programs preferred.
• Ability to work with geriatric patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary team including RNs, CNAs, OT, and SLP.
