Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active DC Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Prior outpatient physical therapy experience is required. Experience with primarily young, active patient populations and managing caseloads of approximately 12–15 patients per day is preferred.
  • Experience with TheraOffice EMR preferred.
  • Ability to perform 30-minute follow-up visits and 60-minute evaluations as part of standard clinic flow.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Outpatient clinic located in downtown Washington, DC.
  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week.
  • Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday shorter day until approximately 2:00–3:00 PM.
  • Caseload Expectations: Target caseload of 14–15 patients per day with an average around 12.
  • Patient Population: Predominantly ages 25–65, approximately 15% Medicare.
  • Clinic Team: Collaborative environment with approximately 10 PTs and 2 OTs on site.
