Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Iowa state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience providing outpatient physical therapy and performing 60-minute evaluations.
• Clinical documentation skills including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with clinic and regulatory guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and modify treatment plans and to delegate/direct discipline-specific therapy services.
• Adherence to state practice act, professional code of conduct, and completion of required continuing education to maintain licensure.
• Experience supervising or precepting students preferred. (Preferred)
