Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active FL Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as hot/cold packs, ultrasound, iontophoresis, TENS, whirlpools, and therapeutic pools preferred.
• Experience training patients in use of assistive devices (canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs) and gait/belt safety techniques preferred.
• Ability to implement treatment plans and document patient progress per clinic standards.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient.
• Shift pattern: 5x8.
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Position: Physical Therapist Assistant supporting PT-established treatment plans and delivering therapeutic interventions.
• May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
