Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia Physical Therapist license required prior to start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including treatment of orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, and post-operative populations.
• Experience with outpatient equipment such as cryotherapy, heating pads, antigravity devices, TENS units, and parallel bars preferred.
• Open to new graduates; experience preferred but not required.
• Must be located at least 50 miles from the facility at time of placement (travel candidates only).
• ITO interviews with recruiter; hiring manager conducts second interview.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital-affiliated Outpatient Clinic.
• Setting: Outpatient rehabilitation attached to hospital campus.
• Shift: Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Weekend: Opportunity to pick up a weekend shift to trade for a weekday off may be available.
• Patient Population: Geriatric ambulatory outpatients, orthopedics, neuro, joint replacements, post-stroke, balance disorders.
• Team Composition: Onsite full-time PT, supervisor, OT, speech therapist, and rehab tech support.
• Equipment: Cryotherapy, heating pads, antigravity devices, TENS units, parallel bars common to outpatient practice.
• Travel Requirement: Travel candidates only; must meet distance requirement from facility.
• Employment Model: Travel assignment with temp-to-perm possibility.
