Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited programs approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain an active state license prior to the start of assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Prior outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluations and plan of care development for adult and geriatric populations.
• Experience with 60-minute evaluations and combined eval/treatment sessions preferred.
• Documentation experience using electronic medical records, including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and students. Student mentoring experience preferred.
• Knowledge of safe patient handling, infection control, and outpatient safety protocols.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 (five days per week, eight-hour shifts).
• Duration: 13 week assignment.
• Patient Sessions: 60 minute evaluations plus treatment sessions.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
