Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Ohio Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Must have prior outpatient physical therapy experience. Candidate must not be a new graduate.
- Experience providing 60-minute initial evaluations and treatment sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with clinic, state, and federal guidelines.
- Competence with documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and to participate in student clinical education when assigned.
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education.
- Preferred: experience in outpatient settings with focus on functional return-to-community activities and safe patient handling practices.
