Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Iowa state license or ability to obtain state license prior to assignment start.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required by client.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior experience with patient transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and use of common assistive devices required.
• Ability to follow treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist and document interventions per facility policy.
• Client may require vaccination or immunization compliance and background screening as standard for patient-facing roles.
