Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting required.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal conditions and to communicate treatment plans and progress to medical teams, including orthopedic and hand surgeons.
• BS or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy acceptable where applicable; Doctoral degree preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide mentorship or assistance to center colleagues.
• Preferred: prior experience in outpatient orthopedic clinics and familiarity with common clinic equipment and documentation systems.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Pattern: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch.
• Schedule: 5x8, daytime schedule.
• Duration: 13-week assignment.
• Job Duties: Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, communicate treatment plans and evaluations to medical teams, report patient progress to in-house and specialty physicians, and assist center colleagues in identifying issues.
