Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Iowa State Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. New graduates optional; client accepts new grads.
- Experience with evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, and charge entry in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, write measurable goals, and provide individualized treatment plans.
- Demonstrated competence in safe patient handling and infection control procedures preferred.
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities preferred.
