Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Maine Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required, including evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Experience with outpatient documentation systems, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design functional treatment programs and progress patients toward discharge within an established length of stay.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and students. Participation in student clinical education is preferred.
• Maintain professional licensure and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
