Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and functional skills while exploring a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Texas state OT license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
  • Experience with safe patient handling and mobilization techniques required.
  • Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants or students preferred.
  • Strong documentation skills and experience completing evaluations and progress notes according to departmental policy required.

Assignment Details

  • May be expected to participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include oversight of COTAs and student clinicians as applicable.
