Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Outpatient clinic experience required. Experience evaluating and developing treatment plans, documenting timely medical records, and writing functional goals is required.
• Experience supervising or delegating to therapy assistants or students preferred.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling, infection control, and clinic safety protocols required.
• Adherence to state practice act and maintenance of professional licensure and required continuing education.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift pattern: 5x8, Monday through Friday.
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks.
• Patient population: Outpatient orthopedic and general rehabilitation caseload.
• Clinical responsibilities: Evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document in accordance with clinic policy and payer requirements, and provide patient and family education.
• May be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
