Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Boone, NC, working in an outpatient clinic where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions. A recruiter will reach out with more details after you apply.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience treating geriatrics and orthopedics is required.
- Experience working with students and young adult populations preferred (e.g., Appalachian State students).
- Some neuro treatment experience preferred.
- Experience in an outpatient clinic setting required.
- Ability to work in a small, tight-knit clinic environment required.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Outpatient clinic.
- Patient mix: Geriatrics and orthopedics primary; students from nearby university and some neuro caseload.
- Clinic pace: Small, tight clinic with a typical daily patient volume of approximately 12 patients seen and 14 on the schedule.
