Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while serving patients in a Home Health setting in Albemarle, NC.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active North Carolina State Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience. Home health experience preferred. First-time travel therapists will be considered if experienced in home health.
• Experience with home health documentation systems required. HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience preferred.
• Clinical skills in wound care, IV/pleurx management, wound VAC familiarity, patient assessment, disease teaching, and OASIS documentation preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required. Ability to travel to patient homes within assigned geographic area.

• Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
• Typical caseload: approximately 6 patient visits per day.
• Orientation: New employee orientation plus 5 days of unit-specific orientation.
• Department culture: Team environment with departmental leadership support.
• Technology/Equipment: Samsung Note 9 issued; HCHB electronic documentation required.
• Scrub color: Navy blue. Parking: free.
