Description

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active Arizona State OT license or ability to obtain prior to the assignment start date.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC, or ability to obtain prior to the assignment start date.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital-based acute care or inpatient rehabilitation OT experience preferred by the client.
  • Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and OT students as required by the facility.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document according to facility policy.
  • Experience with safe patient handling techniques and infection control procedures in an acute care or hospital setting.
  • Ability to participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning.
  • CPR/BLS and other facility-required trainings must be current prior to start.
  • Preferred: Experience with post-acute care, trauma, or complex medical populations.
