Description
Make a real difference as a travel PTA with Jackson Therapy Partners. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or must be obtainable prior to start.
- Experience working in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) or long-term care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with older adult populations, including fall prevention, mobility training, and ADL (activities of daily living) retraining preferred.
- Proficiency with common therapeutic modalities and equipment such as gait belts, walkers, canes, transfer devices, and basic therapeutic exercise programs preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to comply with facility-specific vaccination and background screening policies.
