Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active North Carolina PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required or must be obtainable prior to start.
• Experience working in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) or long-term care setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with older adult populations, including fall prevention, mobility training, and ADL (activities of daily living) retraining preferred.
• Proficiency with common therapeutic modalities and equipment such as gait belts, walkers, canes, transfer devices, and basic therapeutic exercise programs preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to comply with facility-specific vaccination and background screening policies.
