Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Connecticut Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Demonstrated experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Experience with post-acute care evaluations, restorative programs, and discharge planning preferred.
- Proficiency with common therapy equipment including gait belts, therapeutic modalities, and durable medical equipment preferred.
- Ability to document in electronic medical records and meet productivity and regulatory requirements preferred.
