Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred. Experience treating sports injuries, post-op patients, overuse injuries, and pain management is preferred.
• Experience with Prompt EMR preferred.
• Comfort working with a diverse patient population ages 8 to 98, including athletes and elders.
• Ability to perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Willingness to collaborate with and support a multidisciplinary staff and skilled PT aides.
• New graduates welcome; outpatient ortho experience is helpful but not required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Schedule: Five 8-hour days per week. Hourly staff limited to shifts of 4 hours or fewer; traveler will have access to scheduling, billing, administrative, and management support.
• Typical caseload: 11–13 patient visits per day. Evaluations up to 60 minutes. Follow-ups typically 30 minutes. No double booking. 30 minutes of documentation time provided after AM and PM shifts.
• Support: Skilled PT aides available to assist with rehab and exercise programs.
