Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active North Carolina OT license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. (Client may require BLS on hire.)
- Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred. Must be comfortable treating adult medical-surgical, stroke, trauma, and post-operative patients.
- Demonstrated competency with evaluations, ADL retraining, splinting, and therapeutic modalities appropriate to inpatient hospital care.
- Experience working with assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and discharge planning in a hospital setting preferred.
- Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical record systems used in hospital settings preferred.
