Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado State PT license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient experience required. Must be comfortable providing 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, functional outcome measures, and charge entry in compliance with payer and clinic policies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and modify individualized treatment plans, delegate therapy tasks as appropriate, and supervise students when assigned.
• Preferred: Experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic and familiarity with safe patient handling techniques and infection control protocols.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Duration: 13-week assignment with client preference for longer engagements when available.
• Clinical Expectations: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Clinical Duties: Evaluation, individualized treatment planning, documentation, letters of medical necessity, charge entry, and participation in performance improvement activities.
