Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient clinic experience required. Must be able to perform 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up visits as part of a 40-hour workweek.
• Experience with documentation requirements including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with clinic, state, and federal guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, delegate to therapy assistants as appropriate, and promote safe patient handling procedures.
• Ability to participate in student supervision and preceptorships as assigned.
• Preferred: Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine setting and familiarity with Select Medical/clinic performance improvement initiatives.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5x8 shift pattern.
• Required clinical duties: 60-minute evaluations and 30-minute follow-up treatment sessions.
• Float Requirements: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
• Duration: 13-week assignment.
