Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Florida SLP state license or ability to obtain Florida licensure prior to start of assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings required.
• Experience with dysphagia evaluations and treatment, including use of compensatory strategies and therapeutic exercises preferred.
• Experience with documentation systems commonly used in SNFs and with completing Medicare-focused documentation preferred.
• Ability to work 5x8 schedule in a busy rehabilitation environment preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0830-1630.
• Shift Pattern: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
• Meal Break: 30 minutes.
• May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
