Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while supporting a skilled nursing facility in Atlantic, IA.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Iowa Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facilities or long-term care settings is required.
• Experience with ADL retraining, splinting, therapeutic activities, and documentation in electronic medical records is required.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and restorative staff.
• Preference given to candidates with prior experience in geriatric populations, wound care, or cognitive/perceptual interventions. These are preferred qualifications, not requirements.
• PCT requirement: 85% (facility expectation for productivity/caseload performance).
• Must be available for an emergency coverage assignment due to a COTA medical emergency; coverage is expected for at least six weeks.
