Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Plantation, FL. Provide clinical evaluation and treatment for adult and geriatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders in an acute care hospital setting. Work with a cohesive speech therapy team known for patient advocacy and clinical strength. Expect to perform instrumental assessments and dysphagia management while using Meditech for documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology License required. Provisional licenses not accepted.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS)/fluoroscopy and full proficiency performing MBS studies.
• Acute care experience providing swallow evaluations (post-extubation, stroke protocol, pneumonia, failure to thrive, altered mental status) and dysphagia treatments for adult/geriatric populations.
• Experience working independently in fast-paced acute care with limited onsite training for clinical procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior acute care hospital experience with full caseload management (approximately 10–12 patients).
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Previous travel clinician experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
• Typical caseload: approximately 10–12 patients when full caseload.
• Department uses MBS/fluoro equipment; candidates must be proficient.
• Documentation: Meditech electronic medical record.
• Call Requirements: None.

Join a five-person speech therapy team focused on high-quality, evidence-based care. Your role will include swallow evaluations, dysphagia management, speech and language treatment, and conducting MBS studies to guide interdisciplinary care plans.
