We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at an outpatient facility in Lake Charles, LA. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active Louisiana COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in outpatient clinic settings preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems. Experience with Practice Perfect is preferred.
• Ability to see approximately two patients per hour with ~30 minutes spent per patient.
• Comfort working in a team-oriented clinic that emphasizes mind-body connection and collaborative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in clinics with tech-supported patient care where each patient is assigned a technician.
• Experience adapting treatment plans that integrate mental health and physical recovery approaches.
• Comfort using clinical judgment in a flexible, forward-thinking practice environment.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Patient appointments begin at 8:00 AM.
• Lunch break at 1:00 PM; end of day at 5:00 PM.
• Typically see two patients per hour; roughly 30 minutes per patient.
• Each patient is assigned a technician to support care.
