Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Lake Charles, LA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. This opportunity is based in an outpatient clinic that has been family-owned and operated for over 30 years and emphasizes collaborative, team-based care. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Louisiana PTA license or ability to obtain the state license prior to starting the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Experience using Practice Perfect EMR preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with support staff.
• Comfort with treating a typical outpatient caseload and seeing approximately two patients per hour with roughly 30 minutes spent per patient. Each patient is assigned a tech.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a family-owned or small clinic setting preferred.
• Experience integrating mind-body approaches and addressing mental health considerations in physical rehabilitation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Patient appointments begin at 8:00 AM.
• Lunch break at 1:00 PM. Leave at 5:00 PM.
• Typically see two patients per hour. Approximately 30 minutes spent per patient.
• Each patient is assigned a tech.
