Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Fort Worth, TX where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy practice with evaluations, plan of care development, documentation, and progression toward discharge.
  • Ability to complete clear, timely medical record documentation including goal writing, quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with clinic and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling and materials handling practices.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising or delegating tasks to PTA/aide personnel and participating in student clinical education.
  • Prior experience with outpatient clinic workflows and productivity expectations.
  • Engagement in professional development activities and maintenance of state-mandated continuing education.


Assignment Details

  • Shift pattern: 5x8.
  • Work schedule includes 8–9 hour shifts Monday through Thursday as noted in client order details.
  • Assignment location: Outpatient clinic in Fort Worth, TX. Candidates may be expected to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.

Impacting Patient Care

The Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients, develops and modifies treatment plans based on patient needs and physician direction, and designs functional programs for return to community activities. The role includes delegation and direction of discipline-specific therapy services, participation in performance improvement initiatives, adherence to professional codes of conduct and state practice acts, and contribution to a safe work environment focused on safe patient handling, infection control, and hazard reporting.
