Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Virginia state license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Ability to provide services to adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Willingness to float to two sister locations in Richmond.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia management and instrumental assessments such as FEES or MBS referrals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation in post-acute settings.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in skilled nursing facilities.

Assignment Details

• 5 days per week.

Join as a traveling SLP and provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing environment. Deliver person-centered care while collaborating with nursing and therapy staff to support patient goals and safe discharge planning. Document progress according to facility standards and regulatory requirements.
