Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient orthopedic services as a traveling Physical Therapist in Arlington, TX. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care timely and accurately, and support patient and staff education. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice acts and organizational policies. Participate in performance improvement activities and promote patient and employee safety.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in orthopedics.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience with outpatient documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to support staff and students as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior outpatient orthopedic clinical experience.
- Experience participating in student programs or clinical education.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 5x8 (specific start and end times vary; typical weekly schedule Monday–Thursday 9-hour days and partial Friday).
- Typical weekly schedule may include extended weekday hours and a half-day on Friday (example schedules include 7A–5P or 8A–6P Monday–Thursday and 8A–12P Friday).
- Must be able to follow clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
