Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Missouri state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating adult acute care and inpatient rehabilitation patients, including bedside swallow evaluations.
- Experience working in a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center preferred.
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred.
- Ability to float between acute care and inpatient rehab settings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with video swallow studies preferred.
- Previous experience using TIMS equipment preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 08:00 - 17:00.
- Workweek: Monday through Friday scheduling with rotating weekends preferred but flexible.
- On-call: none.
- Floating policy: candidate will cover both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units.
