Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Ottumwa, IA, working in a hospital setting. You will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while providing evidence-based care across diverse caseloads. This role requires professionalism, strong clinical reasoning, and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Iowa state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital environment preferred.
- Clinical experience treating adult medical-surgical, orthopedic, or neurological populations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy or per diem hospital experience preferred.
- Experience with inpatient documentation systems and electronic medical records preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Days: 0800-1630.

Impacting Patient Care

Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other rehabilitation disciplines to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Document outcomes and communicate progress to the care team to support safe discharges.
