Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Somerville, MA. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to support patients in an inpatient rehabilitation/behavioral health setting. The OT will perform evaluations, lead groups, and provide individual treatments for adults with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric diagnoses, contributing as a member of a multidisciplinary rehab team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required prior to start.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in inpatient behavioral health or inpatient pediatric/mental health required.
• Demonstrated ability to complete OT evaluations, provide group and individual treatments, and work with patients with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric diagnoses.
• Travel assignment experience highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in inpatient rehabilitation or adult behavioral health settings.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a hospital environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0800-1600.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8.
• Primarily 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with some flexibility required.
• Possible Saturday coverage with an alternative weekday off.
• Possible holiday coverage (e.g., Labor Day) may be required.
• Willingness to accept local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and interventions in an inpatient rehab and behavioral health environment. Collaborate with nursing, psychiatry, and rehabilitation team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence and safety. Document care accurately and participate in team meetings and discharge planning.
