Description
Join a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in McLean, VA as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in an older adult population. Use your clinical skills to support residents’ functional communication and safe swallowing while working within an interdisciplinary care team. Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Virginia state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working with older adult populations in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, including use of standardized screens and therapeutic techniques preferred.
- Ability to perform documentation in electronic medical records.
- PCT (productive contact time) expectation: 80%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Continuing Care Retirement Communities or similar geriatric settings.
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary care planning and family communication.
- Specialized training in dysphagia management, cognitive-communication disorders, or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Assignment Details
- 30 hours per week.

Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
