Join a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in McLean, VA as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in an older adult population. Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Virginia state SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working with older adult populations in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, including use of standardized screens and therapeutic techniques preferred.
• Ability to perform documentation in electronic medical records.
• PCT (productive contact time) expectation: 80%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Continuing Care Retirement Communities or similar geriatric settings.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary care planning and family communication.
• Specialized training in dysphagia management, cognitive-communication disorders, or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Assignment Details

• 30 hours per week.
