Description
Make a real difference as a travel Physical Therapist Assistant in Cincinnati, OH at a skilled nursing facility. You will work with geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, helping them improve mobility, function, and quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Candidates must be prepared to start as soon as possible to provide coverage for a permanent PTA on FMLA. Please submit your resume for consideration.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Ohio PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working with geriatric patients in long-term care and higher-level outpatient settings is required.
- Experience with NetHealth EMR preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience covering for staff on FMLA or other extended leave preferred.
- Experience treating a high-volume caseload across inpatient and outpatient geriatric populations preferred.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, full time.
- Patient population: geriatrics — inpatient and outpatient.
- Must be available for an ASAP start to provide coverage for a perm PTA on FMLA.
