Description
Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Houston, TX, at a hospital setting. Use clinical expertise to evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population. This role supports multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes while providing an opportunity to work in a regional health system and experience a new community. Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Texas state SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or hospital settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment, instrumental assessments such as FEES or MBSS, or willingness to obtain competency preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel SLP experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records and interdisciplinary care planning preferred.

Impacting Patient Care
Provide direct SLP services that improve communication and swallowing function for hospitalized patients. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab therapists to develop and implement individualized care plans that support discharge goals and reduce readmissions.
