Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a Sacramento, CA outpatient clinic as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and guide patients toward functional return to community activities. Provide discipline-specific direction, complete timely and accurate documentation, participate in student training as assigned, and support quality and safety initiatives. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to state practice acts and organizational policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
- Previous outpatient physical therapy experience required. No new graduates.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, write measurable goals, and document in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- Experience working with electronic medical records and completing letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring students and coordinating student learning objectives.
- Additional certifications or continuing education in outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, or functional rehabilitation.
