Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy license is required to start the assignment. Temporary licenses are not acceptable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required. Must have inpatient rehab and/or acute hospital experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered.
- Experience with in-patient rehab and acute care settings including neuro and ortho evaluations and treatments. Experience treating ortho, telemetry and ICU patients preferred.
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in rehab and/or acute hospital settings preferred.
- Experience performing neuro and ortho inpatient rehab occupational therapy evaluations and treatments preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800–1630.
- Weekend schedule: rotating weekends.
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
- Floating: may float to other units as needed.
- Documentation system: Meditech.
