Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient orthopedic care as a traveling Physical Therapist in Colorado Springs, CO. Treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Evaluate and treat patients, communicate treatment plans and progress to physicians including orthopedic and hand surgeons, and assist colleagues in identifying clinical issues. A valid state license and appropriate degree are required to begin the assignment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current, active Physical Therapy license for Colorado required to start the assignment.
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Experience communicating treatment plans and progress to physicians and surgical specialists.
- Ability to work in a clinic-based outpatient environment and collaborate with a team of therapists.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Required documentation and eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel or contract physical therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with outpatient documentation systems and standard orthopaedic outcome measures preferred.
Assignment Details
- Behavior characteristics: Monday through Friday schedule.
- Duration: 13 Week assignment.
